A photostat model sheet from the Walt Disney Studios short films with Donald Duck (c.1940s/1950s). Featuring the standard head construction for Donald Duck, the model sheet was created at the studio and used during the animation process. Model sheets were printed at the studio and distributed to the animators to ensure consistent character design. Model sheets with standards were used by animators for multiple productions during the time period. Measuring 11”x14” overall, with the character image measuring 10.25”x12.5”, the model sheet is in very good condition with light discoloration, minor edge wear, staple holes, pin holes, notable handling wear, corner creases, and small edge tears.
