An original production cel from the Walter Lantz animated Woody Woodpecker short "Hot Noon or 12 O'clock for Sure" (1953). Featuring a fantastic image of Buzz Buzzard about to have a shoot-out with Woody, the hand-painted cel was created at the studio and used during the animation process. The piece represents an actual frame of animation that was photographed and appears in the short. Measuring 10.5"x12.5" overall, with the character image measuring 5"x5", the cel is in very good condition with slight line wear, a very small spot of paint loss on Buzz's index finger, and the edges beginning to curl.
